I am happy about 90% of my day-to-day life. I tend to be abnormally positive and happy go lucky. I believe that God has blessed me with a very important purpose and that is to help others see the positivity in an ever-so-negative world. All I want is to give you a smile on your face.

Among the positivity, there is one thing I am a total girl about, and that is— my body.In high school I plateaued around 140lbs and most of that was muscle. I wasn’t extremely happy with my body, but I was confident. Now almost everything in my life has changed, I am on the opposite coast, I am in college, I have an AMAZING boyfriend, but reluctantly, I am also 
ONE-HUNDRED &amp; EIGHTY POUNDS (180LBS)



It is like an ominous cloud.

I cannot look at myself in pictures or in the mirror naked, and lets be honest, every girl wants that kind of confidence. I am a happy person, but I am not quite happy with myself. 

This blog is entirely for me. But if you can benefit from it in some way, that will put a smile on my face.This is my challenge: to conquer my body and take it back.

This will be a lot like other weightloss blogs, maybe not even as good. But I am hoping that by writing down both my shortcomings and accomplishments, I can build a healthier, happier, sexier body full of energy.


My goals:

&lt;p&gt;Going to school online and having a nearly full time job, not to mention a boyfriend about an hour away, make it difficult to stay motivated for the other important things in life&amp;#8212;like working out.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;I created this blog as a support system, but frankly, I don&amp;#8217;t know if it is enough. I need someone to push me. To jog on the treadmill right beside me and say, &amp;#8220;I know you are tired, but you need to keep going for another 2 minutes. Give it all you got, AMP UP THE SPEED AND GO!&amp;#8221; I think I need that. But I have a confession to make. I almost wasn&amp;#8217;t going to work out. The clothes I brought were a little tight and I felt really uncomfortable with the way I looked. But I looked myself in the mirror and realized there is only one way to change that. Get out there and work for it! &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt; &lt;em&gt;Ingredients&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;strong&gt;1/2 of a red pepper&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;&lt;strong&gt;1/2 of an avocado&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;&lt;strong&gt;1/2 of a medium tomato&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;&lt;strong&gt;1/4 cup green onions, chopped&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;&lt;strong&gt;1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;&lt;strong&gt;1/2 cup cheddar veggie shreds&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;&lt;strong&gt;1 1/4 cup egg whites (3 Tbsp in each cup)&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;&lt;strong&gt;1 Tbsp chia seeds&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;&lt;strong&gt;1 Tbsp pepper&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;&lt;strong&gt;1 Tbsp Spike Vege-Sal&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;p&gt;I’ve made this with 2 cans of reduced fat crescent rolls but it does add more calories.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;em&gt;Directions&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;ol&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Preheat oven to 350 degrees &lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Chop and combine veggies in a small bowl&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Prepare a muffin tin with nonstick baking spray&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Disperse veggie mixture into each cup&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Top with cheddar veggie shreds&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Pour egg whites into each cup over the mixtures&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/li&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;I&amp;#8217;ve been doing pretty well. I&amp;#8217;m sorry I haven&amp;#8217;t been blogging. But this is it! I am back! &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;May 1st: I started my exercise kick with my dogs and the squat challenge: 50 squats! I walked both of my dogs separately for about 30 minutes and did intervals of 30 seconds sprinting! They were a huge help!&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;May 2nd: I did something similar to day one. I jogged with one and then walked and sprinted with the other. Also 55 squats! (I got a gym membership!)&lt;br/&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;May 3rd: 60 Squats, and I jogged with both of my dogs! Also I started stretching because I realized I really really needed to! &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;May 4th: I was caught up all day today in volunteer work in a local community near mine. We did a lot of painting and yard work&amp;#8212;MAN DID I WORK UP A SWEAT! That was my workout for the day!&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;May 5th: I went to the gym! I did some circuit training and jogged on the treadmill&amp;#8212;each for half an hour. I love the &lt;/span&gt;&lt;span&gt;treadmill&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span&gt; for one reason-You can SEE how many calories you are burning!! Not to mention you can monitor your heart rate without  a wrist monitor or anything! No squats today, it called for rest.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Which brings us to today&amp;#8230;.&lt;br/&gt;I have not yet gone to the gym&amp;#8230;but I am planning an evening excursion&lt;br/&gt;I LOVE 24HR GYMS!
